Getting In Touch With My Roots: Taal Heritage Town

The Taal Heritage Town is an unassuming historical treasure in Batangas, about 2 hours away from Manila. There is a strip of ancestral homes, straight out of the Spanish Colonial Era, most of which were converted to museums, restaurants, and bed-and-breakfast lodges.

Did it feel like we were transported to another place and time? Definitely. I felt like I might run into a robed friar when I rounded corners.

Were we going to stop with that? Nope!
